Every second solar page in Pakistan posts the same thing: a panel on a rooftop, a price, a phone number. Customers scroll past all of them, because nothing tells them why this battery, this inverter or this dealer is the one to trust with a decision worth lakhs. Good solar company marketing in Pakistan has to earn that trust before it asks for the call.
Apex Solar, a Pakistani lithium battery brand selling everything from a 1300W unit to a 16kW system, is our longest-running client: two years and counting. We have also handled social media for Solar Mandee, a solar marketplace. Between them we have made creator films, product posters, expo campaigns and an installer rewards programme. This is what actually worked, with the real numbers.

Quick answers
What is the best way to market a solar company in Pakistan?
Lead with video that explains the product in a real setting, keep every product post in one recognisable design system, and market to installers as hard as you market to homeowners. In our experience, a lot of solar buying decisions in Pakistan go through the installer or dealer, not the end customer alone.
Can a solar business grow a big Facebook page quickly?
Yes, with ads and design working together. Solar Mandee's Facebook page grew past 150K followers in eight months, with more than 3.5M accounts reached, through targeted ad campaigns and consistent, strong design.
Are solar expos worth the money for a brand?
They are if you market the expo before, during and after it. For Apex Solar we ran campaigns around expos in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi: invitations with booth numbers and dates, live highlights from the floor, and a reason for installers to come to the booth.
1. Put the product where the problem is
The film that reached 11 million views for Apex Solar is not a spec sheet. It is set in a neighbourhood shop, the kind of place where fridges, lights and a till all stop when the power goes. The presenter walks through the shop and talks to the people in it, and the battery's capacity, warranty and nationwide support network appear on screen as part of that story.
That is the whole lesson in one film. People do not buy kilowatt hours. They buy a shop that stays open during load-shedding. If your viewer can picture their own business or home in the first few seconds, they keep watching, and the specs land as proof instead of noise.
2. Teach, do not just sell
Our second creator film for Apex passed 1M views with a completely different approach: an explainer. The presenter starts with the history of the battery, opening on Gaston Planté, who invented the lead-acid battery, moves through the old routine of topping up acid batteries by hand, and then shows what a lithium battery like the Apex 5220 Pro does differently, from faster charging to the replacement warranty.
Solar buyers in Pakistan are comparing technologies, not just brands. Many still run lead-acid batteries and are not sure lithium is worth the jump. Content that answers that question honestly builds more trust than any discount poster, and it keeps working for months because the question does not go away.
3. Build a product design system, then stick to it
Apex sells a full range: the 1300, 2600, 5220, 5220 Pro and 16K lithium batteries. If every poster looked different, customers would never connect them as one family. So we built one system and every product post follows it:
- The product name large at the top, with "Lithium Battery" in the brand red.
- The battery itself, shot clean on a consistent warm background.
- A short column of key points: warranty, cell grade, capacity and inverter compatibility.
- A short Urdu promise stamped in the corner.
- The same footer on every post: "Ready stock available" and the WhatsApp number to order.
The result is that an Apex post is recognisable in a feed before anyone reads it, and every single post ends with a way to buy. When a new product arrives, it drops into the system in a day instead of needing a fresh design from scratch.

4. Market to installers, not only homeowners
This is the part most solar brands miss. A homeowner asks their installer which battery to buy, and the installer's answer often decides the sale. So for Apex we built the marketing for installers as its own track.
The centre of it is the Apex Points Mall: every verified installation earns points, and points unlock rewards that go as far as an international trip. We launched it with a simple line, "More installs, more points, better rewards", and supported it with posts that turn the programme into something installers talk about.
At expos, the same thinking applied. For The Solar Show in Islamabad we ran an "Every installer has a chance to win" campaign, with a lucky draw for a 12V Apex lithium battery every day of the show. That gave installers a concrete reason to find the booth, not just a logo on a banner.
5. Treat every expo as a three-part campaign
Solar expos are expensive, and most brands only market them on the day. We treat each one as a campaign with a before, a during and an after:
- Before: invitation posts with the city, dates, hall and booth numbers. For the Lahore Solar Expo that meant Hall 2, Booths 29 to 34. Each city got its own creative, using a landmark people recognise.
- During: our team on the floor shooting photos and video, with "Day 1 highlights" posted while the expo is still running.
- After: the best moments turned into posts and reels that keep working long after the booth comes down.
We have now done this for Apex in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi. The case study has the full gallery from the Lahore Solar Expo.
6. Use ads and design together to grow a page fast
Solar Mandee is a solar marketplace, and their goal was clear: grow the page to a size where it could earn money. In eight months the Facebook page grew past 150K followers, with more than 3.5M accounts reached. In their own words on our review, it was "instrumental in achieving our monetization goals".
There was no secret trick. Targeted ad campaigns brought the right people to the page, and strong, consistent design gave them a reason to follow once they arrived. Ads without good creative waste money. Good creative without ads waits a long time to be seen. You need both.

7. Show up on the days people already care about
A solar brand can still feel human. Alongside product posts, Apex marks the dates its customers mark: Independence Day, Defence Day on 6 September, Father's Day and Jummah. These posts are not selling anything directly, and that is the point. They keep the brand present in the feed between purchases, which for a battery can be years apart.
Solar company marketing in Pakistan: what to take away
- Sell the outcome. Show the shop or home that keeps running, then show the specs as proof.
- Explain the technology. Lead-acid versus lithium is a real question your buyers have. Answer it on video.
- Design one system. Every product post should look like family and end with a way to order.
- Win the installers. A rewards programme and expo incentives give the people who recommend you a reason to.
- Plan expos end to end. Before, during and after, not just a banner on the day.
- Pair ads with design. That combination is what grew Solar Mandee to 150K+ followers.
